Celebrity marriages end for all sorts of different reasons, but these sixteen famous celebrity moms had their relationships fail because their significant other was gay. It’s pretty hard to make your marriage work when your husband is gay.

Princess Leia definitely had her pick of the litter when it came to men. Her first husband was musician Paul Simon, but that marriage didn’t last much longer than a year. Her next husband was Hollywood agent Bryan Lourd and together the two had a daughter, Billie Lourd. They divorced when he came out as gay.

In 2015, Bruce Jenner announced that he was transgender. Bruce now lives as a woman and goes by the name Caitlin.

Perkins unfortunately passed away from AIDS related complications almost 10 years before his wife passed in the tragic 911 attacks.
